Scavie Scoobs is an Italian-American emcee from the Mid-City area of Los Angeles, CA. As a teenager he would later relocate to Hawthorne, CA where he would form Custom Made in 2002 with high school classmates Lavi Bluff, Element Rhymes and Sinister Six. Custom Made gained underground notoriety as prolific emcees who told LA street tales over NY soundscapes. Years of work with would lead to countless mixtapes and indie albums such as Sidewalk Mindtalk, Original Dynasty, Truth Be Told and Hi-Def. In 2011 after Bluff was indicted for wire fraud and subsequently received a two year federal prison sentence, Scoobs decided to put the group on hiatus and focus on his solo career. This resulted in Scoobs releasing his debut solo project Trap Star Volume One, which was well received by both critics and the hip-hop community alike. 2013 saw the release of Yola King, an eight track collaborative EP among Scoobs and LA producer Finesse. Besides music, Scoobs is also an avid painter who partakes in graffiti and abstract art.
